History

CGI was founded based on an intense need for organizations and communities to eliminate or reduce vexing problems and crises that may produce disastrous results. The thrust of such a requirement is based on the seamless integration of crisis, emergency, disaster, and catastrophe management tenets. This comprehensive linkage, will allow for innovation and growth within those entities.

In 2009, CGI's founder wrote the first article calling for Crisisology to become a professional/academic discipline. "CRISISOLOGY: Beyond Crisis &
Prevention Management"
was published in the Crisis Management Forum of

CRISISOLOGY GROUP INTERNATIONAL, LLC
